I would like to download something via Chrome but it is so slow even though we have 16k line. Does anyone know what I can do about it?
If I do a speed test on the laptop, then I manage about 10 MB / s.

Your download is good for your bad line. Compare that with mine: 50k line 5 mb download. Because 16 mbit is not 16 MB. 1 mbit is 0.125 mb
Well… It's extremely slow for a 16 Mbit line.
Nope. At 16 kbit / s, up to 2 MB / s should be possible (rather ~ 1.6 MB / s), not 366 KB / s, i.e. 4 to 5 times as much.

The WLAN card in the laptop sucks or you switched on a speed limiter
