I have a laptop and bought a table microphone for zoom etc. I've tested it, it works. But when I plug it in, turn it on and then go to a zoom meeting, I neither hear the others nor do the others hear me. When I remove the microphone (USB cable out), my microphone takes hold in the PC again and I can hear the others again. How can I get this table microphone to work? Have you tried everything and my laptop says the microphone is ready for use?
Adjust sound settings from browser
1. Did you select it in the Windows settings?
Sound options → input device
2. Did you select it in zoom?
3. Are the audio drivers from your laptop manufacturer installed? In some cases an update can help.
