I have a problem with my Toshiba Satellite S50 Series and I always have to hold down the FN key to adjust the volume etc. It's different with my father's laptop. It annoys me and I really need help to deactivate it… Who can help me?
This means "FN Lock" and can be activated and deactivated in the laptop's BIOS setup.
If you have installed the Toshiba HWSetup Utility, you can use it to change the mode of the special keys.
Otherwise, this may also be possible via the bios, but I'm not entirely sure.
I'm still eleven, so I'm not very familiar with it, although I'm much better at pc than other children. I searched for it and I don't find it
I do not have it unfortunately. Mustn't install anything without my father
Sorry for not being helpful, but I still found it.
Then let your father help you. I don't think it makes sense to change that. Because in games you have to press the FN key to the F keys. It's pretty annoying.
