Hi. Yesterday when I opened Discord I noticed that my new monitor has such a bright stripe on each side of the page. I don't know anything about that. Does every monitor have that? I could imagine that it comes from the backlight. My laptop screen doesn't have that.

If you want to get around that, you need a lot of luck or you buy a full array LED monitor or OLED.

even with manufacturers such as Eizo, it occurs relatively rarely, since these indr. Being checked and selected much more precisely than other monitor manufacturers, but then also has its price.

most monitor displays come from AU Optronics, so this is also a common problem.

Thanks for the clarification. I have an AOC monitor with a VA panel. With Art Panels, that's a problem with the backlight bleed anyway.
