I'm starting my studies in October and wanted to get a laptop before.

Now my question: which is a good laptop that is fast and easy to transport? In addition, he should not be so expensive, I think a maximum of 300 euro.

My daughter has a Lenovo Yoga 520. Is very happy with it. Now I have no idea how expensive it is

At the budget of 300 euro: forget about new equipment.

Search on eBay for a used ThinkPad z.b.

There's a relatively modern i5, ssd and 8gb RAM for 200 euro…

You may need a new battery, but that is still in the budget

I would say a Surface, so you can work wonderfully and really offers everything you need and more. If you are looking for something up to 300) then go to mediamarkt but experience shows that there are only small laptops with little power

300 is difficult. I have just bought an Acer Swift 5 14 inch for my studies, which weighs just under a kilo and has a great performance and long battery life. The weight is very important, especially if you have to carry the thing with you every day. Likewise, the battery life, because in the least lecture halls you have a permanent ne outlet and when the lectures go from 8 to 17.30, it's getting scarce.

Had previously synonymous a cheap Lenovo, which was bock heavy and lasted only 2 ½ hours and the housing was broken by the daily loads very quickly.

If you buy a little more, depending on the length of your studies, you need a device, what the tow, the constant out and pack and fold permanently, otherwise you will soon buy a second and could have spent the same money for a reasonable!
