If you put two stupid RAM bars on a table that are supposed to solve a math problem, but the more 3 kg brain mass and 200 billion neurons.
There's 1 single RAM that has studied mathematics. Better than two stupid RAM bars that have more contacts. Consume more electricity.
two stupids that you invited and no math but can consume twice as many calories. And oxygen. I'm sorry for the thinking, but everywhere I hear that 2 RAM bars are better than single RAM.
2 RAM bars means twice as much heat in the laptop. I've had 8GB in it for 4 hours. The cooler is no longer whistling. And 8 videos running at the same time. Quality 720p.
There are arguments, of course, that it is better to use 2 RAM bars. Imagine a RAM calling his boss in the morning and reporting sick - the computer can still run with it, so in a way there's redundancy. Waste heat may be more, but it also depends on the generation. Incidentally, a RAM bar does not study mathematics, but rather works as a librarian. The smaller RAM trainee only gets 2 shelves and the big one is responsible for 8 shelves. The ALU, which is relatively untalented and has just the basic arithmetic, does the math; but it does that very quickly in a short time. In my opinion, it doesn't really matter whether you have one or two RAM bars inside - it would be important that the same or at least RAMs of the same size should be used if several bars are used.
