At the moment I only have one HDMI connection on my laptop, and I wanted to ask if this can be expanded with the cable mentioned above.

If there's such a thing, a link would be nice too.

If you want to have the same picture twice you can use such an HDMI splitter

What are you up to?

to connect two external screens to the hdmi connection? If so, this is only possible if the same content is displayed on both external monitors.

That means I couldn't have the video conference on one, Word on the other, and YouTube open on the last one?

oh yes, there are 3 screens with the laptop screen.
