Which laptop is suitable for studying mechanical engineering?

I would like to start studying mechanical engineering in the winter semester and am currently looking for a suitable laptop for it. Maybe someone can tell me what to watch out for or recommend certain devices.

Depends on how much you are willing to spend. Tell me your upper limit and I'll find something for you for the price.

Thanks in advance. So my pain threshold is around 1500 euro, I would prefer to be up to 1300 euro, I would like one that is worth its price and lasts / can keep up for a long time.

What do you have to do with it? How big is the display? Should it be light because you want to take it to university or can it be a big ham. Your price limit is pretty good. You get top goods there

La

Display would be 15 "best, because I can still see something and it's not too unwieldy. I always plan to take it with me to lectures and accordingly it should be light (possibly max. 2kg) and quite robust.

If you want an Apple then the new one with m1 chip here is the https://www.amazon.de/...08N5S9B8X/

Find out a few others if you don't want an apple

Would you suggest the https://www.amazon.de/...08JCPB318/ with 16gb ram, 512ssd and i7 processor. 14 mm fullhd display anti-glare. Lenovo builds good devices in addition to Dell in the office. Is now a 14 inch, otherwise you will come to 15.6, believe me is too big for the road.

If you don't like it, then you can choose something with at least i7 cpu or ryzen 7 with min 16GB RAM, min 256GB SSD and fullhd display. AND with HDMI or DisplayPort output for connection to an external monitor.

I'm not a fan of gloss displays, anti-reflective coating is a must for long and pleasant work.

Apple is not so good for mechanical engineering, there are many programs that are not so compatible

Thank you.

With pleasure. Otherwise take a look at the Dell laptops on the dell shop website, the selection is huge
