2.) Has an i7 processor (Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-4720 HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz, 16GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M
Or can you play with the former Sims 4 smooth and on high graphics settings?
Sims should run on both good but the 2nd is a lot better
Both are enough.
The 2nd Is much better, especially the graphics card.
Sims can be any 15 year old PC or tablet.
With an I7 you shoot very much beyond the requirements.
