Laptop with DVD drive?

I'm looking for a good laptop to replace my old pc. It should have enough storage space and work fine for Beni video conferencing.

Have a look on ebay for ThinkPad T440 or T440p. You just have to see if the screen is big enough for you.

Price range? And what is a big screen for you? 15.6 or 17.3 inches? Do you still use special software or is it only intended for conferences, surfing the net, etc?

And how much storage space do you think you need at least? For example, is 256 GB enough for you or should it be more?

So big that I can work with split screen, Ben videoconferencing see many participants. It could be 17.3 in. I mainly want to use it at home.
