Which tablet is best for a teacher?

For school, especially during Corona times and distance learning, my mother needs a reliable tablet for everything that defines being a teacher. I instinctively advised her to buy an iPad Pro, after she had reported about colleagues who had something like this and used it to correct students' homework. I wanted to hear other opinions, the budget is around 1000 euro, so basically the device should replace your old laptop. What do you think?

I'm not a teacher, but I have a lot of teachers using IPads and I have to say that as a student it is also nice (if you find the lessons exciting) if the teacher does not try to connect a Bluetooth box for hours

Take a look at the new iPad Air 4 as an alternative to the iPad Pro - it can do a lot of the Pro and is cheaper.

Every teacher should soon get a service device for it… For home schooling, preparation, grade management, data protection and internal compatibility.

I would rather wait and see what happens in that direction and only invest part of the money as accessories.

Only approx. 600 euro are available per device and ultimately it is up to the school sponsor (mostly the community) how this is implemented now. Possibly. Still at the school when the school authority transfers the decisions!

As an Android alternative: Samsung Tab S7 (possibly Plus)

This is both a pro and a contra argument. In the absence of connections, you are almost forced to connect everything with the ipad via bluetooth.

I would generally recommend a convertible, there are many good parts. But if the others at school all use an iPad, the old wisdom applies:

If everyone jumps off the roof, what do you do then: Of course you jump behind, probably burns or an airplane crashes into the building, that's for sure. So she should follow the herd there!

I will advise her to use the iPad Air
