I want to buy a new laptop battery. My current one has given up the ghost. The current battery has a voltage of 10.8V 72 wh 6700 mAh.

I would take a replacement battery straight from your model. Because third-party products could lead to fires. For batteries and charging cables, I would always use original ones.

That with mah is not so important, with mah is meant how much capacity a battery has. So how much electricity the battery can store, the more mah, the longer the battery life.
