I have a laptop that has the Geforce MX250 graphics card.
My question now is whether this graphics card is sufficient for a 144 Hz monitor.
If you're not going to play anything, sure
For desktop work? Naturally. For gaming? No way
For which applications?
To operate the monitor? Clear. Virtually every graphics card does that. The common resolutions of most (not 4k) monitors have been supported by almost all graphics solutions for over a decade.
Achieve 144 FPS in any game to fully utilize the frame rate? Probably not.
It works for desktop operation. But whether 144 Hz is of much use to you is questionable. You won't get too many FPS when gaming with the graphics card.
Thank you first
So I have been playing on the laptop display for a long time without problems, the laptop only gets a little hot. Is the laptop still too weak for the monitor when playing?
I actually always play the same game.

Depending on the game and settings you will not reach 144 FPS, then a 144 HZ monitor is of little use to you
