I wanted to ask for your advice, because: I currently have a WQHD monitor with 144hz and 32 inches. I'm also very happy with this, but I'm now thinking about getting a 4K monitor. However, I only saw 4K monitors with 60hz which are in my price range, this is around 450 euro. I mainly use the monitor for gaming with the Playstation 4 Pro. I still have a laptop with an RTX 2070. So the question is, what is more important, the resolution or the 144hz? I would also be happy if you know a 4K monitor with 144hz. Another aspect is the PS5 that is to be presented today, as I'm considering purchasing it.

Then take 4k and 60Hz. The PS4 can do 30FPS as far as I know and the Pro 60FPS. The PS 5 should also be capable of 60FPS by default. You won't get any 144Hz if you can only have a maximum of 60FPS anyway. And how the PS4 Pro and PS5 4k Gaming have the 4k and 60Hz monitor.

The PS4 Pro can take a maximum of 60 frames per second. What do 144 Hz bring?
Image is more fluid. Especially not with games where quick reaction is required. E.g. At shooting games.
The difference between 60hz and 144hz is much, much bigger than that between WQHD and 4K.
Even if you only e.g. 90FPS, a 1440p 144hz monitor would be much better.
I don't know what you play, but for many games your laptop will be enough to get 144FPS in WQHD.
The PS4 Pro can output a maximum of 4K-UHD @ 60hz, so I would recommend a 4K monitor.
