I have such a relatively old laptop from Sony with Windows 10 and it makes me quite aggressive for a few days.
The screen will turn black and white for 0.5-2 seconds.
It happens between 1 and 10 times a minute and is really annoying

Even laptops are inferior to natural wear. And if it is already so old, it may well be that something is wrong on the motherboard or graphics chip, maybe it's just a condenser that gives up the ghost. But that's normal over time. Nothing is built for eternity, certainly not electronic items.
