Trojans Detected by Windows on My Laptop?

So I got a notification that malicious Trojans were found on my laptop. They probably send some personal data to hackers. I should then apparently call any number now, and wanted to ask whether this could also be a fake website, since it already existed.

Ja

It couldn't be, it definitely is.

Windows / Microsoft will never "notify" you of a trojan / malware and ask you to call somewhere.

These are simply fraudsters who weigh you into uncertainty and want to sell access to your PC / non-functional applications.

Sq

Okay, but the problem is that I can't close this tab and when I shut down my laptop and start up again, the website is still there

Gu

Before you do anything: NO!

You will NOT get your number or personal information! Pass on. Because such things are mostly fake and you will regret it very bitterly afterwards!

Behind the support people there are usually some scammers who want to pull you off by marketing your data or getting their money through long phone calls. In the worst case, you can download viruses, malware, spyware, Trojans by clicking on dubious websites.

This also applies to any competitions that say that you, for example. Won an iPhone. You haven't and you never will!

Please abstain from such sites. Too many people can be fooled by it because they are not familiar with it at all!

Ja

Yes, they are persistent, there's nothing to deny. Ctrl + W should be the shortcut of choice and may have to be held down until all - probably replicating - tabs are closed. The cursor is usually intercepted very reliably as soon as you would try to close the window with it.

Gu

@Limearts is absolutely right! It's actually not fun!

Sq

Yes, I will not call anywhere or do anything. The only problem is that I can't close the tab.

Sq

Nothing happens stupidly when I press the shortcut Ctrl + W. I pressed it once, held it down and pressed it several times behind it, but nothing happens

Gu

Then do the following: Try to close the browser normally. If that doesn't work press: CTRL + ALT + DEL to call the Task Manager. With this you should force the browser to shutdown and the tab would close by itself. And if that doesn't work, pull out the LAN cable to avoid malware and shut down the computer afterwards. Approximately 30 sec. Plug in the LAN cable again later and start up the computer!

Sq

Unfortunately, neither works, but thanks for your help

Ev

Check your PC with Malwarebytes, which is a relatively good program, including the free version.

Otherwise you will not be able to avoid a complete new installation.

At

If you start the computer in safe mode, you can use Malwarebytes and ADWcleaner to scan for viruses. This will likely discover and delete the program.

Restart a laptop, ie: select "Restart" in the switch-off menu.
