Is a notebook or iPad Pro 12.9 inch worth it?

My laptop is from 2015, it's time for something new. It's awfully slow.

I think the ipad pro is really fresh because I surf a lot and watch youtube etc.

Fr

Yes, it's worth it, if you have the money to buy it.

It depends on what you are doing, if you only want to surf, read, watch videos and if necessary make handwritten notes, then it is "sufficient" but you want to do more, use it in the form of office applications, use Windows software or games, do other tasks for which you need more power or better keyboards, display sizes, etc. A notebook would be more suitable.

Well ne all at most I would use it for word pad but it works for that too? But isn't it actually too expensive? For the money you get a high end notebook right?

Fe

Sure, it's way too expensive, it's an Apple product. I personally think other tablets are also overpriced, at least if you look at the high-end range, see Samsung Galaxy Tabs. If you personally decide for yourself that you want an ipad Pro, you know you will buy it, personally I wouldn't buy one, firstly because it is too expensive for me, secondly because I'm not an Apple fan. If I need a tablet I would rather buy an Android device for about 300 euro. If I want a tablet that I can write on, I have made the experience that Windows tablets with an active stylus are the best devices in terms of apps and variety, there are a few Android devices with a good pen, but unfortunately you are very much there severely restricted what the sharing of data or similar That's okay, especially if you want to synchronize the data on several devices via the cloud.

If you just want to stream or the like, you can also buy a notebook for around 400-700 euro, or spend a few euro more to buy a device that will last a few years longer. In general, I can currently recommend notebooks with at least an Intel i5 or Ryzen 4500 and higher, as well as at least 8GB Ram to be able to use the devices well for the next few years. I would prefer to buy a notebook with a Ryzen CPU because the integrated graphics cards from AmD are significantly faster and better than the comparable Intel iGPU graphics cards (Intel HD / UHD). When buying notebooks or tablets nowadays, I would also make sure that they have a USB C port for charging if they do not have strong graphics cards to play with, this has a lot of potential and uses, charging from the device, data transfer, image transfer / Video and sound via HDMI adapter, inexpensive docking stations with which power, monitor and keyboard / mouse can be connected to the device via a cable, etc…

Alternatively, dua beer could also look at convertibels, which are notebooks that can either be folded down or the keyboard can be removed, see iPad Pro or Microsoft Surface for comparison.

If you just surf the web, do some office work, then the ipad is definitely enough.

I also used my ipad pro as a 2nd PC and I have to say it's very fast.
