I have a new microphone. But my laptop does not recognize this. When I plug it in, it just doesn't show up.
My laptop has a combination plug for sound output and recording. I've tried all sorts of adapters that came with the kit, but if I've understood correctly, the four-pin connector should actually be the right one.
I've also updated all of the drivers. Nothing has changed. The microphone works perfectly on my smartphone.
I think it would work with a USB adapter, but I don't want to spend another 10 euro. Does anyone know of any other way I could get the mic working?
So have you already tried a Y-adapter?
