Laptop hangs during installation, why?

My laptop always hangs when I install a game, and then of course I have to turn it off. That is incredibly annoying, can someone help me there? Can this have something to do with the fact that my hard drive is full? My old hard drive had a virus and since then I have had a much smaller hard drive.

Just take it to an installer who will do it.
