LG OLED TV Windows 10 no 120hz on the laptop?

I have the following problem, I know it from my old laptop that I simply went into the Intel driver and was able to switch to 120hz there. However, this no longer works with my new laptop since the Ryzen 5 4600H. In the Nvidia system control of the GTX 1660ti, I also have no way of changing anything in terms of resolution. In the Windows settings I also checked the adapter properties of the television, there I can only switch between 1920x1080 @ 40 / 60hz and 3840x2160 @ 60hz (and smaller resolutions at 40 / 60hz). Deactivating the AMD graphics card in the device manager did not help either, because I thought that it might then be taken over by the graphics card, but the TV then stays off. Meanwhile I'm really desperate and don't know what to do… Hope you can help me!

Do you have to switch to Windows & in the Nvidia system control

By the way: your apu deactivates itself automatically if a dedicated graphics card is included

I tried it as it says above, but without success.

I tried dozens of videos and tutorials and changed everything as shown, but it doesn't help because the monitor is cloned via the APU, which I don't want, and you can't change anything in the Asus UEFI

No, she doesn't. One tries to use the dedicated graphics solution only when its computing power is needed and otherwise one saves electricity. The technology from Nvidia is called Optimus.

Um, what you are trying to do is technically not possible and would not work with your old laptop either.

Your graphics card only has one HDMI 2.0b output and so it can only transmit 4k at 60Hz. For 120Hz you would need HDMI 2.1.

With the old laptop I was able to set 1080p @ 120hz via the Intel driver.

I don't want to use 4k at all but just 120hz to play.

But since I know that it worked with the old laptop with a 960M and an older i7, I wonder what the problem is.
