Am looking for a laptop. One laptop has 480gb ssd and the other 1000gb hdd. Both cost the same. Which is better?
Take the one with the SSD that is much more comfortable and you save a lot of time.
More specifications like what you want to do on the laptop. (office or gaming etc.) would be helpful. As well as your max. Budget. Otherwise the ssd is faster but it would be better to go back. Get advice here
It depends on what you do. The HDD is usually sufficient for Office, especially since you also have more memory. If of course you need or want to have faster storage, you should get the one with the SSD ^^
Depends on whether 480GB is enough for you… Otherwise the SSD is better.
I clearly recommend the variant with the SSD, because all loading times are 10 times shorter. All the updates that you have to install for Windows / browsers etc. Are also 10x faster.
480 GB are also quite generous, because you can save a lot of data. And you could still buy an external hard drive if you still needed more storage space.
