I want to buy a notebook that I can always take with me, but at home I would like to have a larger picture. I would like to buy a 27 inch monitor. They are not very expensive. Now my question. If the notebook is a nice sharp picture did I have that on the monitor too? When I see these VGA cables that have been around for ages, I can't imagine the lossless picture from the notebook to the monitor. What do you think?
Moin Eckhard,
The image is most likely to be lossless on the monitor, but VGA is an ancient technology and there are hardly any newer monitors and laptops that have VGA. If your laptop has an HDMI output, look for a monitor with an HMDI input, so that the image is much sharper in the end.
Notebook with VGA? NEW?
But that has to be a real turnip.
HDMI is standard
With a 27 inch monitor, probably with at least full HD (1920x1080 pixels), the image is not transmitted losslessly, since VGA cables can't transmit so much quality / pixels, an HDMI or Displayport cable would be the better decision, then you would also have to see which ones Connections the laptop has. Mostly have the VGA and HDMI. The monitor will likely also have HDMI and or Displayport. So you would have to check the connections again before you buy
Ah ok! I'll pay attention to that, since I don't have a notebook yet, the new one will probably have the latest standard
I haven't bought one yet
I noticed it, thanks
