Does Windows make my PC worse?

Re
8

I had a Windows update today. After the update I went into Minecraft, played a little bit on Gomme and noticed that I had 60fps as always but it was never short to 100fps as usual.

So Windows Update will make my laptop worse? Or am I just imagining it?

pa

You're just imagining that

Re

Ok but why is it no longer 100fps on you?

Ma

What do you get from short 100fps? Why are they no longer? Then that's the question.

When games are running, windows is largely overridden anyway. Windows also didn't program the game. It made many great games possible with directx etc. But it is also the scapegoat for everything

often right.

Op

Microsoft reserves the right to improve or even eliminate functionalities and features in the updates in addition to the bug fixes and so-called system stabilizing measures. For this reason, some computers or some applications in business no longer work as expected and regression tests must be carried out in advance.

You may have changed system settings, which you now have to adjust manually. It may also be that your graphics driver no longer works optimally after the Win10 update, so update it immediately.

If you have a little computer knowledge and are interested in what has been changed, you can save the entire registry as a backup export before an update. You do the same after the update. With Winmerge, Windiff, Notepad ++ with Compare-Plugin (free) or other text-comparing programs, you can then see what has changed. Perhaps you can then undo individual changes in the right place.
