The question is actually already above, but it is about the following: I know where I can turn the sound on, off, loud, quieter. I'm looking for the setting for going up and down. The tootling just annoys you. It is even more embarrassing when you are sitting in a video conference that your interlocutor is talking and talking. He hears and sees you but you only have his picture. Then you are the stupid of what feels like five hours to get this tone going.
I don't really think that the sound is playing too bad, but there's also a button that deactivates the up and down movement. When it comes to cell phones, I think it means start and shutdown melody.
If it is Windows 10:
Go to the gear on the left at the bottom of the start menu (Settings).
Enter the word "sound" in the search field in the settings.
Select "Change system sounds" from the options offered.
In the window that opens you can set the tones for the various events.
I don't understand your problem… What kind of toothless? And what tone is it… Your description is confusing
First, thank you very much.
Unfortunately still Windows 7.
Yes, the stupid rumble when going up and down.
Can I still change the tone? If you think of "and what tone is it?" speak. Sorry
First, thank you very much.
With pleasure.
Unfortunately still Windows 7.
There's also a point for the sound in the system settings. You just have to look where it is in the system settings / control panel.
The window itself should look the same.
You can also set the Windows to "no sounds".
OK. Thank you so much. I will look in the settings tomorrow or in the next few days.
With the deactivation, do I destroy the point that the battery should beep when it is empty?
More precisely:
Move up and down = x;
Report battery = y / does that also belong to "Windows" tones? But that would actually be very stupid.
Do you have to look up which tones you can "assign" a sound to individually.
