Why is my laptop only rendering up to 5%?

I use shotcut and my pc is quite old, but I managed to render a video. But in my new video, he renders up to 5% or sometimes up to 6%, but never again. When he was 5% I let him work (about 1 hour) and nothing happens.

What is a resource monitor, sorry I know myself with laptops etc. Not so good… 😅

Where can I look it?

If you go to the "Performance" tab in Task Manager, you can open the resource monitor below.
Or simply search for "Resource Monitor" via the Windows key.

There you can see if the rendering process is still in progress or has hung up. If the value for CPU usage or RAM consumption does not change, or if the status is "No response", the process has stalled.

It's best if you look live while rendering, and check if necessary the CPU and RAM usage.
