If I start a localhost server from Minecraft and double click on start.bat, I get an error message! As seen in the screenshot! The system is hollowed out for security reasons, but I click on my laptop and OK and it doesn't want to change! As an administrator, I did this and then I did not find the error message spigot-1.15.2! Who has an idea how I can fix this?

I'm using Windows 10

You have to specify the following in the start.bat file:

java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar spigot-1.15.2.jar

ta

Rule in networks: Do not use spaces in URLs / paths.

Ca

No, then the comes again

Ca

I understand now net

Ne

Because your address contains a space (the space is still there on the screenshot).

Either you rename the directory or you put the URL in ""

Ca

OK

Je

How do you think he has to? What you have attached is only to determine the RAM.

Ti

You should rename the "server 1.15" folder so that it no longer has any spaces.

ey

Well so that he can start it SAFE. 2. Have you already pressed the spigot file to regenerate the eula etc?

Ca

And it still doesn't work

Ne

How do I rename it

Simply click twice on the "server 1.15" folder in Windows (do not double-click) and then delete the space.

But I don't know if there are other things accessing the directory, any mods or something. Then they would not find it anymore.

Ca

Yes

Ne

Of course, you also have to remove the space in your bat.

Ca

I have already made! The folder is called server-1.15

ey

Hmm, then try to reinstall the spigot file or run the start.bat as administrator

Ne

And do you have that in your bat?

Ca

Java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar spigot-1.15.2.jar and the bat heist start.bat

Ne

Oh. You start the bat directly in the directory where Spigot is located?

Ca

I have already reinstalled the spigot.jar 3 times

Ca

Yes

Ne

By clicking on it, and then he tells you he didn't find the file you clicked on?

Ca

Yes he gives me the list and he finds the spigot net

Ne

No, I just read, he can't find the Start.Bat.

Ca

Aha

Ne

And you start the bat right by clicking on it, not from anywhere else?

Ca

Yes I go into my folder and double click on it and run as administrator is also ned

Ne

The file must also be visible on your desktop. What happens when you click on it?

Ca

The same

Je

Running as an administrator will hardly help if the .bat file is then executed in C: \ Windows \ System32. I think there's no Spigot.jar

Ca

Do you want to help me eth or ned

Ne

Sorry, but we also have other things to do… There can be delays.

Please go to the relevant folder in the command line and run "Start.bat" there.

ta

And of course anywhere else with URLs / paths that are still involved.

Ca

There it goes

Ne

That means something is wrong with the path of your desktop.

Move the whole folder "Server 1.15" somewhere else, for example. Under "C: \ Programs" or something.

You should generally not save files or folders under desktop.

Ne question, is your username "User"?

Ca

This is how it works Ned I pulled it into documents and that's where it comes from

Ne

Take it out of the user folder. "Documents" is still in the user folder. I think that's the problem. Put it under C: \ Programs or something.

Ca

No

Ne

Then don't stop. Have a good time.

Ca

I did as you said but it was not a question of "no"

Ne

You moved it under programs?

Ca

When asked if I ever had programs under no, I didn't

Ne

Where is it now… It should definitely not be in your user directory anymore.

Ca

Moment should i try on a usb stick?

Ne

No. Why start a new experiment if you haven't even tried it on the hard drive outside of the user directory?

Ca

I have a laptop where should I move that

Ne

A laptop is just a lightweight PC.

You have a hard drive with partition C:

I know that because your user directory "C: \ Users" is also there.

There are other directories on this partition, e.g. "C: \ Programs"

Just move the Server-1.15 folder under Programs so that it then becomes "C: \ Program Files \ Server-1.15".

Ca

No access

Ne

You don't have access to your C drive?
