As you have already read above, I have a problem with deleting files such as images and PDF files from my mobile phone.
I connected my cell phone to the laptop with a cable to erase some things, as this gives me a better overview. But my laptop either claims that the files are write-protected or takes a long time to load.
I've had the problem before and then had to reset everything. Now I wanted to ask if it works without it.

You have to use the original cable, not just any usb cable, you can charge with it but sometimes it doesn't fully support data transfer
