I've been trying for ages to transfer pictures from my Android smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S6edge) to my laptop (lennovo c340), but keep putting it off because I can't get anywhere on my own.
Now I need your help!
My problem is that when I connect my cell phone to the laptop no pictures are displayed and even when I go to DCIM via the folder, it says that the folder is empty. Perhaps what you should know is that the photos were transferred to my brother's laptop before, but he accidentally deleted them. (Could that be because they have already been transferred, that the images do not appear on my laptop?)
Now the pictures exist on my old cell phone, but I would like to have them on my laptop or a stick.
Browse all folders that appear. The pictures are stored somewhere.
Connect the mobile phone to the laptop> Go to details in the gallery of the mobile phone (next to a picture) to find the storage location> Search for storage location in Windows Explorer
Connect the USB cable. Open files, search for the phone drive, open the image data folder, drag it over, done.
You may have to tell the cell phone first that it should be used for data transfer. You should get a corresponding notification when you connect it to the PC. By default, it only loads
Just copy the pictures from the phone to your Google Drive first.
Then install the on the laptop: https://www.raidrive.com/ With this you can set up Google Drive as a drive letter. Then you can easily copy the pictures to the laptop.
