My laptop turns on the fan as soon as I plug in the charging cable. Can someone tell me whether this is normal and if not, can someone help me?

Gu

That should be normal. Most laptops run at significantly more power when plugged in to save battery. More power means more heat and that's why the fans go on.

kr

Yes, but when I look at the temperatures with GPU Z they only go down and not up and besides, I don't do anything

Gu

The batteries produce heat when they are charged, which is why the fans turn on. If the back gets uncomfortably hot (approx.> 60 ° C) while charging, without anything running on the laptop, I would be careful, because then the batteries are probably damaged.

OK thanks
