What is a driver for a laptop?
The link between the operating system and hardware.
It is software that must be installed under the operating system so that the hardware can be controlled and used accordingly.
Exactly the same as a desktop.
A driver is software that makes your computer recognize your hardware components.
For example, if you do not have a video card driver installed, your computer will not have this video card or it will not work as it should.
The driver is a small control program that connects PC with printer or scanner, for example, and converts commands directly into electrical processes of the respective device. The device never gets tired!
