Uninstall Microsoft Office?

I want to completely reset my laptop, i.e. Erase all data and apps. It is now that I own Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Plus. And I have a product key for that. What happens if I completely uninstall Microsoft Office and then reinstall it again? Can the product key only be redeemed once? Does that mean that I have to get a new product key? (If not, where can I find my Office Priduct Key?)

With Microsoft Office 2016, the activation is saved in your Microsoft account. If your laptop was shipped with Windows 10, the Windows 10 key is permanently integrated in the BIOS.

I would not reset, but cleanly reinstall. To do this, first download the Media Creation Tool: https://www.microsoft.com/...ndows10%20 With this you can create a Windows 10 USB boot stick. An empty formatted USB stick is required for this.

Then simply boot the stick created and follow the instructions of the wizard. It offers the possibility to delete everything. One should do that. After the Windows 10 installation is complete, it reactivates fully automatically. The key integrated in the BIOS is used for this.

Then you go to the manufacturer's page of your laptop. Download and install the drivers there.

And this is how you install Microsoft Office 2016 again: To do this, go to https://setup.office.com/?omkt=de-DE Here you then select https://setup.office.com/SignIn?ctid=e9561731-9385-487b-97d8-feea767f6494&redirectUri=https%3A%2F%2Fsetup.office.com%2Fhome%2Fgetoffice%3Fctid%3De9561731-9385-487b-97d8-feea767f6494 Then you can download and install it again. It then reactivates automatically. You don't have to enter the key anymore.

It is always better to cleanly reinstall than to reset.
