Is it possible to disconnect the screen from a laptop?

Hi the screen of my laptop is broken so I connected it to my monitor. Sounds maybe stupid but you can dismantle the screen, unscrew or what would happen if I leave because it really nerft.

Removal is usually possible. How exactly this works is however quite different from model to model.

Demolition is less because the hinges are very stable, and also some cables go to the monitor which can cause a short circuit… Antenna for WLAN and Bluetooth, VGA cable, power supply, camera etc.
