My t.bone SC440 USB beeps in the background on my PC, which is really annoying.
However, I found out that it is not due to the microphone, since it does not beep on the laptop. Does anyone know what it could be?
It would not be unusual if the voltage from the USB socket of your PC was anything but a well-smoothed DC voltage. If you supply a microphone with dirt voltage, there's noise.
The microphone could also have problems with interference from the surroundings. To check this, pull out all the devices that are not absolutely necessary, including their power supplies, from the sockets. In your case, other peripherals that are connected to the PC. Sometimes LED or energy-saving lamps can also cause problems.
