Sims 4 on multiple PCs?

I downloaded Sims 4 on my father's laptop about 3 years ago because I didn't have my own PC back then. Since I have that now, I wanted to ask how I can play Sims on my laptop? I've already downloaded Origin, all the packs and all that, and I'm logged in with the same account. But if I go into the game now, it's like a new game and I would have to start over… Does anyone have a suggestion for a solution?

Yes, of course it works. You just have to log into your old account and download everything to the new PC.
of course you can change the PC 😊 as often as you want and copy the saved games.
