I'm a student and commute between my home and the city where I'm studying. I'm looking for a part time job and of course it would be ideal for me to be able to do this in my home office on my laptop. Unfortunately, I find in the www mainly dodgy and dubious job advertisements. Is someone in the same situation and can recommend certain home office jobs specifically for students or tell me where to apply? I would be thankfull for an answer.
A part time job as a student is nothing unusual. Basically, there would always be something to do with linking to the department, if possible. The assumption of tutorials or internships is common in our faculty. The payment is reasonably good and spatially, the effort is low, if you are studying on the spot anyway.
Specifically to your home office question, to the best of my knowledge, the IT industry is the one that works effectively and permanently. As a software developer, you will probably find a suitable job, provided of course you have the necessary skills (programming skills). Although other office jobs are theoretically possible, in practice I have experienced pure home office but only in IT.
If both do not match your qualifications or your wishes, a side job with presence would probably be the only option.
