Before I come to the question, a little history. I'm currently working as a mini job in a pizzeria in the city center, where, as you can imagine, there's a lot going on, especially during the Corona period. I would therefore like to put this mini job aside and look for another mini job that is more relaxed. I looked around and found an advertisement from Medimax, you are looking for sales help. Since I'm particularly interested in cell phones, tablets and laptops in my free time, I read the ad. I meet all the criteria and I don't seem to need any training to become a seller or anything. I then asked my parents and showed them the ad. However, they felt that the job needed a bit of experience. Now I'm not sure whether I can apply there and, as a second question, whether it is in such shops that one or two people are assigned to a department or whether they should have a bit of an idea of everything or… Note: As far as knowledge is concerned, I'm relatively good at it… I can assign almost any mobile phone / tablet, which processor it has, what the cameras can do, what kind of display technology it is etc. But the most important thing, I think, is that I can assign a customer's priorities to a cell phone (good camera and good battery = p30 per zb). I Really would like to have this job because I can now share my knowledge and help others (and because I can call my hobby a source of money haha). Is my skill enough to be accepted?
Incidentally, I'm M 17, a student in 10th grade at a high school where I want to graduate.
Here is the link of the ad, maybe it helps: https://medimax.softgarden.io/job/5377416/Verkaufsaushilfe-m-w-d-?l=de
The jobs are advertised for young professionals. Many work there who are not experts. So I don't see any problem there. Rather, the fact that you are still a minor and a student. In retail you are usually looking for people who are available on call at any time.
