Yo people

would need a few suggestions for good notebooks or laptops, since I will soon start studying (industrial engineering). However, I would also use it more privately, so please do not waste where office programs can only be opened in 2 days. I don't have a lot of knowledge about processors etc. So I wanted to get a little smart here and find out what is suitable and popular with students.

budget is 500-1100 euro

I have a MacBook Air and that's awesome. You just have to buy office, but it doesn't cost that much. The operating system is just awesome.

Buy Thinkpad T430 for 73 euro and then install hardware for 400 euro. Better than any notebook for less than 600 euro

MacBook or Microsoft Surface (my recommendation)

You do not describe the requirements for the computer at all.
If you only want Office to run on it, a cheap computer is enough. You don't need anything special. Go to any store and buy one. Just look that he has an HDMI connection to give a presentation. In addition, a sufficiently large SSD.

Apple laptops don't. Are far too expensive, you never know which software you may need for the university and you run around with too many adapters because there are too few connections. Or stop the surface.

I recommend hp but you always have to do that at hp
