So it's a bit strange: my cell phone flies out of the Wi-Fi every 2 minutes where I live and I have to reconnect manually. This does not happen with other devices (tablet, laptop, other cell phone). BUT with other WLANs (does that mean what is the majority of them?) Well anyway, it doesn't happen to others either, so not at the university etc. Only at home with my cell phone and the home WLAN.
So what's the problem now and what can I do about it?
IPhone?
No
Maybe there's another, weaker Wi-Fi within reach that you have connected to so that the cell phone somehow switches back and forth and then loses the connection to the weaker one? I sometimes have that when I connect, if I want to use the Wi-Fi in the city bus and if there's a telecom hotspot nearby…
Wi-Fi connection completely throw out of the router and also completely delete the connection on the cell phone. Then reconnect
There are actually two things on the router. Once MovistarB8 something and then the same thing again with extra back. I had registered with both of them, but the plus is not in my WLAN list
How do I throw the connection out of the router?
Look in the settings on the cell phone to see if you can set the cell phone to automatically connect to the preferred network when it is within range… Or delete the other one from your cell phone
Open the user interface of the router with admin rights, then search for your device in the connections and delete it there. This should work without any problems on your cell phone.
I would just restart the router. So just pull out the mains plug and wait approx. 10 seconds and then plug it in again.
If all the answers didn't help:
Do you use 2.4 GHz network?
I would test 5 GHz network if your router supports it. May be that there are too many 2.4 GHz nearby. The disadvantage is the range, advantage that there are a lot of channels and none of them bother you.
(I would recommend 5 GHz in big cities)
