Hello first of all I have an internet problem everywhere in the house the internet is only on my laptop not connected to ethernet.
There's an error when troubleshooting: Ethernet does not have a valid IP configuration
Also the socket where the ethernet cable is flashing is red all the time
can anyone help me please?
Navigate to the following:
Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network and Sharing Center
Then click on Ethernet (highlighted in blue), then on Properties and here double-click on Internet Protocol, Version 4 (TCP / IPv4)
There you can see if the point at get ip automatically is checked
Then take the ethernet cable out of the socket and plug it into the ethernet hole
Yes, but there's something in DNS
What about dns? =
More preferred: 1.1.1.1
Alternative: 1.0.0.1
Enter in DNS: 8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8
If nothing comes with the Ethernet there's also Unidentified network, can it be that my Ethernet can't establish a connection to the Wi-Fi?
Ethernet does not establish a connection to the Wi-Fi.
Please open your CMD:
Then enter ipconfig / release
Then enter ipconfig / renew and then write to me if it works.
According to Renew, no process can be carried out on a LAN connection * 12 as long as its mediul is not connected.
There's also nothing at standard gateway
I just reset the network on my laptop
The reset didn't work either
This error message comes when your network card has an IP that does not belong in the range of IP addresses managed by the router.
The best thing to do is set everything to automatic. Don't forget that this has to be done with IPv4 and IPv6.
Socket in the wall… Flashing red?
I guess:
You use Powerline (also called dLAN, manufacturer Devolo or others?).
"flashes red"? Red actually always means that something is not working properly.
Solution:
With Powerline there are always at least two "Powerline socket adapters". Check if both are plugged in. The first Powerline adapter is plugged into the router and feeds the LAN signal into the power grid. The second Powerline adapter in your room picks up the LAN signal and outputs it at the LAN connection (or as WLAN). Check if both are plugged in.
Check whether both Powerline adapters are working properly, typically they glow green or yellow, but under no circumstances should they glow or blink red. If it is red, please look in the manual of the Powerline adapter, there the meaning of the LED status display is explained (Google for… Device model + manual)
If it does not want to work properly, then reset the two Powerline adapters and pair them freshly as with the initial setup. How? Unfortunately, that is in the manual!
PS:
You asked the same question almost twice, so you get a similar answer twice. Unfortunately, you have failed to name the device models (router model? Powerline? Yes or No? If yes… Which model?), So you only get general answers.
