Windows reset data deletion or hard drives?

I want to give away an older Windows 10 laptop and reset it, so my goal is to get rid of my data irrevocably.

I can tune in

Data Erasure: Remove files and wipe the drive. This process can take hours, but it makes files difficult to recover.
Hard drives: Remove all files from all drives.

Is it enough just to click the first option?

Do

The rule is like this:

Windows only releases the memory
The more times a location in the memory is overwritten, the more difficult it is to show old writings.
