Laptop / notebook / tablet for the advanced level?

I'm in 11th grade this year and my old laptop isn't working as well anymore. So my parents and I thought about buying a new device. Therefore my question exactly which device would you recommend for the upper level at a high school. I want it for research, typing, homeschooling and co. Gladly use and edit pictures with it in my free time. My budget is 700 euro at most.

Laptop and notebook are more or less the same.

The original difference is no longer there because it had to do with size.

A tablet is the best thing you can use. You might need that in geography or something where there's a topic about the earth. Sometimes you have to download an app and explore with the teachers in class. At least that's how it was with me.

A laptop is very helpful and actually there's no difference between a notebook and a laptop except that a laptop is "stronger". I would recommend a Surface from Microsoft. Has good software, has touch (is also a tablet), is definitely better than a MacBook because the MacBook has different software and there are occasional complications when you use Apple software, moreover it is overpriced and he has good hardware.

But you would have to see what is built into the Surface because otherwise you often only pay for the name, although a better Surface actually costs the same. It should have an i7 processor, 16 GB RAM would not be bad, but you also come with 8 GB then an SSD hard drive and otherwise it doesn't matter. It's not that tragic if you don't have the things I wrote about these things but it would be recommendable.

A new Surface costs around 800 Fr. And if you buy used second hand (which is actually not bad, at most it would have a few scratches but they would occur anyway), it would cost around 400 Fr.

Hardware = the inside of the PC which contributes to how fast it is.

Software that what you see on the display.

Laptop is best for typing and researching, and also ideal for video conferencing. It is best to find a good cover right away if you have to take it with you for presentations etc. In this context, please also think of the right cables.
Tablet is only recommended if you intend to write it down by hand. Otherwise not.

Or an Android emulator on the laptop. There are also very good ones and a laptop is much more versatile.

If you ever need apps for Android, you download an Android emulator for Windows and then you can also use them on your laptop. It is much more versatile than a tablet.
