Windows 10 logon with password - how?

On my laptop with Windows 10 is:

Settings> Accounts> Login Options does not have the "Password" option…

On my PC, however, it does. What could that be?

I also want to protect my laptop with a password, not a PIN.

Why could that be that the option "Password" is not listed?

The error was because I went to Settings> Accounts> Login options

activated the check mark under "Require Windows Hello login for Microsoft accounts".

If this setting is deactivated, a password can now be created.
