I'm 12 years old and I do YouTube as a hobby. I'm currently looking for a new laptop, do you have recommendations for laptops for video editing or YouTube that are not that expensive?
If you have endless time, any reasonably usable laptop that does not come from the cheap or lower multimedia segment is sufficient.
As an example for… I think it wasn't 300 euro, I bought a used Lenovo ThinkPad W540 on eBay. Strong Intel Core i7, space for up to 64GB RAM and an nVidia Quadro workstation graphics card. Space for 2 SSDs / or HDDs. What more do you want.
I do video editing with Magix Video Deluxe, which works well with Intel + nVidia. The ThinkPad W540 workstation laptop is a bit older, however.
It worked a little more than 3 hours for about 2 hours of full HD video in very good quality. However, there were many individual MP3s there. As well as animations and scrolling text.
