I have recently had performance problems with my laptop (especially when playing). So I opened the Task Manager and checked what was overloaded. It's memory. It was a little over 90% even though only about 4 GB were used (actually it has 8GB RAM). My question now is, is one of the RAM sticks broken or did I accidentally change something?
I look forward to helpful answers!
No, the RAM seems okay at first glance. It is only being used properly. It's not just the game that needs memory. I would recommend a RAM upgrade because 8GB are rather scarce if you want to use the notebook for gaming.
Seems like a bolt is broken
Does the BIOS show 8 GB or 4 GB?
But before that, it always worked and (for example) GTA ran smoothly. Why not now?
8GB
Is that Windows 32 bit or 64 bit?
What is under the tab "Performance"?
