I have a new FritzBox 7530 and found the function "media server" or USB remote control etc.
My goal is that I insert a USB stick (or hard drive) into the USB port of the Fritzbox, then from PC / laptop to the stick e.g. Load films and then play them back on the LG TV (43UF6409). In general, this seems to be possible, but I didn't manage it… I can load the stick with data by remote control, but then I can't access it from the TV. Do I need extra software or hardware for this? Or how can I put the link here?
I also read a lot about Kodi and stuff, but I don't know that and don't know if I need it.
I would be grateful for any help!
