Why does my Bluetooth headset work with my mobile phone but not with my laptop?

Hi

I'm trying to connect my headphones (FITFORT CVC 6.0 Active Noise Canceling Bluetooth Headphones) to my laptop. My headphones are shown in the bluetooth settings of my laptop, but I can't hear anything when I watch videos no matter how loud I set them. When I connect the headphones and laptop with an aux cable, everything works fine, but it is a bit uncomfortable because the aux cable is 40 cm long. The bluetooth connection with my cell phone works perfectly.

I need help

Qu

Are the headphones already connected to the pc or are they only displayed at the moment?

It says "voice, music connected"

Try at the bottom right where the time should be next to a loudspeaker display. Right-click on it and open the sound setting. Maybe you have to switch to headphones first

"select output device: headphones L1"

"select input device: headphones L1"

I still can't hear anything with the settings. When I press the volume buttons on my headphone, the volume on my laptop goes up or down accordingly.

Funny

Then I hope that someone else can help you.

I'm not on the PC right now, otherwise I can have a look myself

I just noticed a problem. I got the microphone from my laptop, but obviously I wasn't on Discord. Seems like my headphones have a microphone where I don't know how to do it

Go to your task bar at the bottom and click on the speaker. Then you go on the arrow and select your device.

My headphones display two:

headphones (L1 hands-free ag audio)

headphones (L1 stereo)

When I use l1 hands-free ag audio I actually have sound, but it doesn't sound as "clear" as with the cable connection

This is also because BT was not designed for something like that. The bandwidth for signal transmission is simply too small. When I stream music to my soundbar via BT, it sounds very thin. The whole story is really only useful for telephony.
