Hi, I bought a new laptop to play League of Legends, but when I play without a charger I only play 40 fps and with a charger it's about 150 fps
Why is that? Is that normal?
"Power plan"
The laptop (CPU and GPU) clocked automatically slower as soon as it is disconnected from the charger, with mine I could not do anything against it at that time, although all regulators were on maximum power in all cases, the clock went back
What do you mean exactly? Do I have to change the settings or how?
Yes, under "Select power plan" you can change to balanced or maximum performance after unplugging the charging cable.
Many notebooks are configured to work as efficiently as possible in battery mode. CPU and graphics chip clock much faster and sometimes do not reach the highest clock rates.
Partly you can correct that on the Ernergieoptionen in battery mode, by there's on "maximum performance". This will however reduce the battery life.
Laptop stop.
In battery mode, they often go to "economy mode" and clock down on the necessary down. But you should be able to adjust in the power settings of Windows. (Of course, the battery is then empty within a very short time when the mill is running on full power…)
That's why the sensible PC gamer does not buy any laptops, because for the same amount of money you get a better desktop PC (which is even better / easier to upgrade / retrofit);
