Sony WF 1000xm3 headphones microphone does not work with laptop?

The problem is actually above. I have the WF 1000xm3 headphones from Sony and use them for meetings on my laptop.

Everything worked for the first week. I had sound and could speak through the built-in microphone. At some point I could no longer connect my headphones to the laptop and had to reset the Bluetooth connection on both the headphones and the laptop.

Since then I can no longer use the microphone in the headphones. There are two settings for the headphones. One stereo and one hand free. I've tried both, neither work.

Does anyone know a solution?
