I'm thinking of buying a monitor but there are only monitors with HDMI port no with my connection I attached to my laptop.
I wanted to ask if you can do anything because I would be happy if someone can help me here.
What does your laptop have for a connection? VGA? There are adapters for such cases.
Ehhm no, there are not only monitors with HDMI. Most of them have HDMI, DVI and VGA, but VGA is more and more eliminated. You just have to buy a monitor that has the same port as your laptop or you are adapting but that would not be the best option if you buy new anyway. Unless you use Apple, then you probably have to adapt anyway.

Yes that's true. I'm still waiting for the time when EVERYTHING about Thunderbold 3 USB Type-C is running, no adapters no different cables, no giant plugs and monitors could theoretically also operate with only one cable. (Up to 100w gets through such a cable through)
