And although I have the Telekom contract with unlimited data volume. I have currently connected my laptop to the internet via a mobile hotspot. I have full reception 4G.
I play with a buddy Farming Simulator 19 on a Nitrado server. According to Speedtest I have here 25 Mbits download and upload the 10 Mbits and still the game is lagging a bit, my average ping is 50 and when I drive a vehicle the ping goes up to 120 for a fraction of a second. And that repeats every few seconds.
Can someone help me? Can I adjust the settings somewhere or can someone tell me why that is?
You have 2 things that are difficult (impossible to control).
First, the ping depends on a variety of factors. Most are even outside the supplying source (LTE or DSL).
On the other hand, LTE is a shared medium, which several users share. This also means that the available LTE bandwidth is shared among all users.
I'll make it short: Here we can't do anything, except all other users say, they should not log on to this cell.
